One of the long time French creators of Secondlife is Pixivor Allen. Her store, AlaFolie, has progressed along with the grid, and has a niche mesh range. The garments are quite exquisite, and I am showing you just one dress today:
This is the Valentina dress. It comes in a number of parts: system shirt and pants, mesh skirt piece, and overlaid dress.
Now, this is where the thrill comes in. This dress comes with a HUD, allowing 9 different coloured dresses, 9 skirt pieces, 9 matching system layers, 18 flower colours and 6 centre flower colours.
I spent the afternoon just playing with the colour combinations
Each dress is meticulously assembled. The creator states:
“My creations are good quality ones, and I always take great care in their realization, in adjusting the pattern matches, in putting the finishing touches to the textures created by myself. I spend a lot of time finalizing a clothes and I always wear them myself a whole week before putting them on sale to insure that everything is fine. Even with all this care, details can be forgotten. In that case, you let me know, I fix the problem and give you another copy of the defaulting one.
You need to convert all or part of your garment, but you do not succeed, contact me and I would come to the aid.”
I’m also wearing new hair from Clawtooth, available at Collabor88 this month.
